Blue VO!CE software includes seven broadcast vocal effects that work together to craft the perfect vocal sound.
Voice EQ allows you to enhance the sound of your voice by adjusting the low, mid and high frequencies to increase depth, clarity and intelligibility. Select the specific frequency you want to tweak and either boost or cut the gain to alter the sound of your voice.
The High-Pass Filter protects your stream from muddy sound by removing unwanted low-frequency noises such as rumbling traffic or accidental desk bumps. You specify the target frequency and audio below that frequency is gently rolled off.
Noise Reduction removes consistent, unwanted noise such as air conditioning, computer fans and sound from outside your room. Four different parameters allow you to dial in the perfect amount of noise reduction to suit your unique space.
Think of the Expander/Gate effect like an automatic mute/un-mute button. In the moments when you aren’t speaking, this effect makes sure your stream is dead silent. Set the threshold just below the level of your voice and the gate will kick in and mute the signal when you’re done talking. Then when you start speaking again, the signal immediately opens back up.
The De-esser removes sibilance in your voice caused by ‘S’ sounds. This effect listens at the target frequency and smooths out any unpleasant, spiky audio.
Compression automatically adds that professional vibe to your voice by making sure the volume levels stay consistent whether you’re whispering or shouting. This effect tailors the dynamics of a signal, making the quiet parts louder while preventing the loud parts from getting too loud. Set the threshold and ratio to determine how much vibe you want for your stream.
When your stream heats up, the limiter keeps your voice from getting too loud and causing distortion. A specialized compressor, the limiter only affects the loudest peaks and protects your sound, even if you shout.
