GROOVES & SOUL We are pleased to announce the second and third installments of the Blue Notes Podcast. You can subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. We will feature some of our favorite artists with exclusive interviews and performances recorded at the Blue Studio. The second edition features AM whose new album, Future Sons & Daughters, pays homage to the Tulsa-born, New Orleans-raised musician’s diverse influences which includes Jorge Ben, Brian Wilson, Sergio Mendes and Curtis Mayfield, while showcasing his own songwriting chops, intelligent lyrics and psychedelic grooves. The internationally revered French electronic pop duo AIR has handpicked AM to open their 2010 US and Canadian tour. The third edition features Chris Pierce our favorite soul singer and song-craftsman. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chris has been performing in clubs, on television, and on concert tours since before he could drive. Chris is often described as an old soul and his music has been compared to greats like Bill Withers, Al Green and Otis Redding, yet he has a voice that stands alone. |
