Favorite Blue Mic: Bluebird, en·CORE 300
"I’ve used many Blue mics over the years and I own several. I find them to be truly exceptional. The entire line sounds silky smooth. Even the more affordable mics have a creamy quality usually reserved for the pricier models, and their natural and pleasing high-end response is crucial in today’s world of digital recording. I love all my Blue mics, but my most valued mics are the encore 300 and the Bluebird. The BB is an extremely versatile mike that sounds great on many sources. I use them a lot on overheads, acoustic guitars and vocals. The encore 300 is a fantastic vocal mic. With it I can get a great vocal sound from singers who perform better with a handheld while blasting the studio monitors."
