Shawn K. Clement of Clemistry Music is a film & television composer and one of the most prolific musical artists in Hollywood.

Mr. Clement's Wounded Warrior's Hymn was recently performed at the Kennedy Center as a premiere at the Tribute for Wounded Warriors.  The piece received a standing ovation and was performed by a 106 piece orchestra, 247 member chorus and Shawn's long-time friend, Jon Anderson (lead singer of Yes).  The Wounded Warrior's Hymn was derived from the brilliant music score Mr. Clement wrote for the animated feature film Quantum Quest.

The original score for the film Quantum Quest was recorded at George Lucas' legendary Skywalker Ranch with the San Francisco Philharmonic, also known as the Skywalker Orchestra.  The film boasts an all-star cast from the Star Wars and Star Trek films including Chris Pine, Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen, Robert Picardo, Brent Spiner, James Earl Jones, William Shatner and Mark Hamill as well as Jason Alexander, Amanda Peet, Sandra Oh, Doug Jones and Astronaut Neil Armstrong.  The music score for Quantum Quest was nominated for best score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and won a Global Music Award.  The soundtrack for the film was released in 2011.

Mr Clement just completed composing season 5 of Top 20 Most Shocking and is slated to do 26 new episodes for World's Wildest Police Videos.  He also has a new working relationship with a production company that has 17 shows on their slate, the first of which is Whipped for Fox.  Whipped will be composed by Mr. Clement.

Mr. Clement is also composing music for all Cage Vs Cons live events by Mixed Martial Arts.  He has been asked to be a producer for the entire project and is slated to score the resulting documentary and television series.  Other current projects include Kiss Before the Slaughter by Archstone Pictures and the independent feature film Sinbad the Fifth Voyage starring Patrick Steward of Star Trek and X-Men fame.

Mr. Clement's new offices reside at Paramount Pictures where he also started a new production company, Collective Entertainment, which is currently developing film & television projects.  These projects include feature films Rebound, The Afflicted, Johnson & Johnson and the musical Undeniable as well as several television series including Training Day and The Drifters.

Currently, Collective Entertainment's television series Masters of Sound is garnering extensive recognition and accolades.  This series in development is hosted by famed DJ Jim Ladd.  Not only is Mr. Clement scoring the series, he also has created the series by utilizing his vast amount of notable contacts in the industry.

From televison to film to video games, Mr. Clement has worked in a wide variety of genres and styles, building a vast resume of over 200 credits.  Mr. Clement began his professional career helping to originate and develop the musical foundation for the voyeuristic world of reality television - years before the phenomena saturated the air waves.  Among the original reality television series he has scored are World's Wildest Police Videos, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.  Other notable television series he scored include the highly-acclaimed cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in which he also supplied original songs as well as score.  The songs were fan favorites and helped expand the fan base for the show.  In recognition of his body of work, ASCAP presented Mr. Clement with a Film & Television Music Award for Most Performed Underscore. 

Mr. Clement's past film credits include We Married Margo released by New Line Cinema; Last Chance, winner of Best Original Drama at World Fest; and Bad Girls From Valley High released by Universal.  Two recent indy horror features scored by Mr. Clement are the highly acclaimed Finale, released by Image; and Virus X, released by Lions Gate.  Mr. Clement was nominated by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards for Finale.  Two other acclaimed sports dramas scored recently by Mr. Clement are Play On and Beyond the Mat.  Play On won top prize at the 2nd Annual All Sports Film Festival.  The script for Beyond the Mat was an official selection for the Tribeca Film Festival All Access Program.

Mr. Clement has scored many video games in a wide range of musical landscapes using his vast resource of music skills and talent.  He has scored two Batman video games, both of which were nominated for music awards and wildly received throughout the industry.  Mr. Clement scored one of the first video games created for PlayStation 2, Disney's Goin' "Quackers".  The score received much acclaim and garnered him the request to score the Batman video games.  He also scored Sony's Open Season.  The musical direction that Mr. Clement created for the score actually inspired the music for the motion picture film.  Mr. Clement also scored The Sims 2 video game for Electronic Arts.
