Favorite Blue Mic: en·CORE 200
QUOTE: "Having played non-stop since the release of my album "Entre La Ciudad y El Mar" I realized that I needed a live microphone that could capture the essence and spirit of my voice in a live setting. After trying out a variety of microphones I decided to go with the Blue en·CORE 200 because it supported my voice and captured the subtleties that usually only get heard in a studio setting. Its allowed me a much more dynamic range and helped me to maintain my voice throughout the tour."

“An incredible song writer - really, really clued into merging Latin music with almost a classic Bruce Springsteen songwriting style.”
Joe Cuello, MTV
Gustavo Galindo’s music is a reflection of his life’s journey between two countries and two cultures -- combining traditional and contemporary Mexican and American styles. In 2008, he released his first Spanish-language EP, La Ciudad, catching the attention of Adrián Sosa, Anibal Kerpel and multi-Grammy and Oscar winning legend Gustavo Santaolalla of the Surco label - the producers behind Café Tacuba, Julieta Venegas, Juanes, Molotov and more. Gustavo was signed to Universal Latino/Surco in 2009, and his debut album, Entre La Ciudad y El Mar came out March 8 2011, going to #1 in Latin Pop on iTunes within 24 hours. Gustavo has performed on bills with acts such as Zoé, Enrique Iglesias, Ely Guerra, Gloria Trevi, Juanes, Babasónicos, Natalia Lafourcade, Alejandra Guzman, Camila, Jorge Villamizar, Alex Cuba and Ximena Sariñana. On September 15th, 2010 he also performed in Mexico's Bicentennial celebrations held in Mexico City.
