DJ Shy was the first female mixer at the No. 1 top 40 radio station in America, 102.7 KIIS-FM. in Los Angeles. This Clear Channel station with over 2.6 million listeners each week features Ryan Seacrest as morning host. Shy has spun at all the top clubs in the world, from L.A. to Asia and back. She kicked off the 2006 Bud Light-MAXIM Exposure Tour, which touched down 45 cities throughout the United States. In 2007 SHY travelled nationwide for the NOCTURNAL TOUR spinning at 80 events with Playmates and reality stars of Beauty and the Geek. In 2008, SHY went on tour travelling aboard PRINCESS CRUISES spreading her sounds throughout the Caribbean. In 2009, she joined the all-girl electro-punk band NYLON PINK as the DJ. In 2010, DJ Shy transitions her music to the big screens and has shared the set with Juliette Lewis battling the lead character in Mark Ruffalo’s “Sympathy for Delicious” film about a DJ at Sundance.

She has appeared on Damon Wayans "The Underground" on Showtime, Disney Channel's "Totally Suite New Years Eve" and recently taught Angela Simmons how to spin on MTV’s “Daddys’ Girls”. Shy got her start at the world-famous Laugh Factory comedy club in Hollywood, where she spun at sold-out shows for comics like Norm MacDonald, Damon and Marlon Wayons, George Lopez, Chris Rock, Bob Saget, Dane Cook, David Chapelle, Roger Dangerfield and others. She spins Top 40, pop, hip-hop, R&B and reggae music.

Shy has broken barriers in the male-dominated industry of deejaying to become one of the most skilled and respected female mixers in the world. Shy’s future endeavors include spinning at sports events, in commercials and film, and publishing her memoirs, writing a screenplay and creating a documentary series.
